U.S. aims to arm Ukraine with advanced anti-ship missiles to fight Russian blockade:
The White House is working to put advanced anti-ship missiles in the hands of Ukrainian fighters to help defeat Russia's naval blockade, officials said, amid concerns more powerful weapons that could sink Russian warships would intensify the conflict.
Ukraine has made no secret it wants more advanced U.S. capabilities beyond its current inventory of artillery, Javelin and Stinger missiles, and other arms. Ukrainian forces launched an artillery strike targeting a sophisticated Russian radar-jamming system near Kharkiv, video shows.
The Ukrainian military released a 30-second aerial recording Wednesday of what it says was the aftermath of a fiery attack on an enemy military installation featuring the R-330Zh radar-jamming system.
The footage shows flames and plumes of thick, black smoke pouring out of the blasted installation.
The equipment, which is also known as “Zhitel,” was destroyed as part of a joint operation between air assault forces and ground forces, officials said. --->WATCH/READ MORE HERE
