Biden Panned for Silence on COVID-19 Origins at Pandemic Summit; DIA: Intel suggests COVID virus was lab-engineered, and other C-Virus related stories

Biden panned for silence on COVID-19 origins at pandemic summit:
White House officials and world leaders gathered at the second COVID-19 summit on Thursday to talk about battling the pandemic and preventing future ones, but absent from the discussion were China and lingering questions of how COVID-19 came to be.
Some scientists and political leaders slammed the Biden administration for the omission, arguing it's not possible to prevent another pandemic without knowing what caused the first one.
"An international COVID-19 summit that does not address the origin of COVID-19 is predestined to failure," said Richard Ebright, a professor of chemical biology at Rutgers University. "A U.S. plan for pandemic preparedness that does not include an investigation of the origin of COVID-19 and does not call for strengthening of biosafety and biosecurity oversight is a betrayal of the 1 million Americans who have died from COVID-19 and their families."
The event announcement touts the need for new spending in order to provide tests, treatments, and vaccines across the world and to prepare for the next outbreak. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris both spoke, as did Secretary of State Antony Blinken and White House coronavirus response coordinator Ashish Jha. None directly mentioned China or the pandemic's origins.
A wide multitude of government, business, and philanthropic participants included representatives from Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, the World Health Organization, and the World Bank. One panelist described the next pandemic as being "around the corner." --->READ MORE HERE

DIA: Intel suggests COVID virus was lab-engineered:
Army Lt. Gen. Scott Berrier, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, revealed in prepared Senate testimony this week that some U.S. intelligence agencies — not identified by name — believe the virus behind the COVID-19 pandemic may have been genetically modified in a laboratory and not transmitted naturally from an animal host in China, where it was first identified.
Limited and fragmentary information on the virus origin led to multiple theories on the virus origin among the 17 agencies that make up the U.S. intelligence community, he said. Despite the uncertainty, all agencies claim the virus known as SARS-CoV-2 was not developed as a biological weapon.
But Gen. Berrier added without elaborating that “most agree that it was not genetically engineered.” That suggests more than one intelligence agency has information pointing to the COVID virus still spreading worldwide as containing human-produced genetic modifications.
It was the first time a government official disclosed on the record declassified intelligence indicating the coronavirus behind the pandemic could have been manipulated in a laboratory, a charge the Chinese government has fiercely denied. --->READ MORE HERE
