GOP States Sue Biden for Allowing Family Members to Join Illegal Immigrants in US; Eight States File Lawsuit Against Biden for Reinstating Immigration Policy Nixed by Trump, and related stories

GOP states sue Biden for allowing family members to join illegal immigrants in US:
Eight states have sued the Biden administration for restarting an Obama-era program that allows migrants who illegally crossed the border to petition that their children or relatives be able to join them in the United States.
On Friday, Republican-led states Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, and Texas filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court Northern District of Texas over the Biden administration’s reimplementation of the Central American Minors Program. America First Legal, a law firm run by officials from the Trump administration, served as outside counsel to Texas.
"The CAM Program is illegal. The Biden Administration created it without consideration of the effects it will have on the Plaintiff States and the continuing crisis along the Southwest Border," the complaint states. "The Administration created it without notice-and-comment rulemaking. And it imposes substantial, irreparable harms on the Plaintiff States. This Court should declare unlawful and enjoin the Biden Administration’s unlawful program." --->READ MORE HERE
Eight States File Lawsuit Against Biden for Reinstating Immigration Policy Nixed by Trump:
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched his twentieth lawsuit against the administration of President Joe Biden, and it has the backing of seven other states.
The lawsuit is against the reinstatement of the Central American Minors Refugee and Parole Program, otherwise known as CAM. With the policy put back into place after being repealed by former President Donald Trump, it will allow certain minors from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala into the United States and will be put onto the path of permanent citizenship.
In order to qualify for CAM, parents or other family members that are lawfully located in the U.S. must vouch for them. In a statement released on Friday, Paxton claimed that the reinstatement of CAM has no basis in federal law.
"The Biden Administration has sown nothing but disaster for our country through its illegal, unconstitutional immigration policies," wrote Paxton. "Biden's latest round of flagrant law-breaking includes his Central American Minors Program, which has contributed significantly to many states being forced to take in even more aliens. My fellow attorneys general and I are suing to stop it." --->READ MORE HERE
