The teachers' unions won't be satisfied until they either get freed from doing anything except Zoom virtual indoctrination sessions about the evils of capitalism... or until they elect a Youngkin in every state.
How else do you explain insanity like this?
Teachers' unions already spent a year not showing up for work. After finally going back into classrooms, fairly recently in many states, they're already too tired to work.
In Bellevue, Washington, near Seattle, administrators preemptively closed schools Friday because so many teachers are taking the day off after the Veterans Day holiday, giving them a four-day weekend.
Allison Snow, a fifth-grade teacher and the local union president, said everyone is worn out.
Snow said teachers are constantly struggling to simultaneously teach new material, provide mental and emotional support to their 20,000 students, and catch up from lost days. She sees the trauma every time she walks the halls: tears, anger, impatience. Harder to see are the headaches, the anxiety, the nausea from constant pressure.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) partied maskless this week, popping into a reelection fundraiser for a fellow Democrat.
The event featured dozens of maskless individuals in an enclosed room, some of whom posed for pictures cheek-to-cheek. Meanwhile, New York continues to force 2-year-olds to mask up.
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to everyone who came out to our re-election fundraiser last night—including surprise special guest @chuckschumer!!” New York Assembly member Emily Gallagher said in a tweet, providing a handful of pictures of the event.
One photo showed dozens of persons who appear to be Democrats gathered in an enclosed room, none of whom appeared to be wearing masks. In another photo, Gallagher blatantly ignored social distancing guidelines and posed cheek-to-cheek with a woman who stuck her tongue out for the photo. Other photos showed Schumer standing among a group of people without a mask on and posing for a photo:
