Former President Donald Trump railed President Joe Biden’s Democratic-engineered crisis at the border in a statement Tuesday.
“When I was President, our Southern border was in great shape – stronger, safer, and more secure than ever before. We ended Catch-and-Release, shut down asylum fraud, and crippled the vicious smugglers, drug dealers, and human traffickers,” Trump said. “The wall, despite horrendous Democrat delays, would have easily been finished by now, and is working magnificently. Our country is being destroyed at the Southern border, a terrible thing to see!”

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday blamed President Biden for creating a migrant crisis on the southern border by dismantling the successful Trump-era immigration policies.
“This administration threw away all the good work we had done,” Mr. Pompeo told Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo.
Mr. Pompeo said he helped negotiate the “Remain in Mexico” policy that kept asylum seekers outside the U.S. while their claims were reviewed.
