BIG MISTAKE MR. PRESIDENT: Trump Announces Two-Week Delay in Deportation Raids

MY TAKE FIRST:  What does giving Congress two-weeks to come up with a border deal have to do with DEPORTING PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVE PROMISED SHOULD BE DEPORTED?

Are you saying then that a Border Deal might STOP THESE DEPORTATIONS so I want to wait? Why the hell else? The Democrats and RINOS won't do diddly-squat unless an AMNESTY of some kind is included in any deal.

The only thing this delay really accomplishes is to give open-borders advocates 2 weeks to track down some federal judge who will like nothing more than to find some bogus reason to STOP the deportations. Is that what you want?

I repeat, this is A BIG MISTAKE and these invaders need to start being deported in mass one way or another. Your BASE and RE-ELECTION are DEPENDING on you to DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.
WSJ: President Trump said Saturday that he was delaying planned weekend immigration raids around the country, but threatened to move forward with deportations in two weeks if lawmakers cannot agree quickly on changes to immigration laws.
Mr. Trump tweeted that he was putting off the action at the “request of Democrats” and said that he was giving Democrats and Republicans two weeks to “work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border.” If not, he added, “Deportations start!”
The president’s announcement came after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, (D.,Calif.) reached out to him on Friday night about the expected raids. In a brief telephone conversation, she asked the president to call them off, said a person familiar with the conversation.
Mrs. Pelosi also issued a statement Saturday morning calling on the president to halt the raids. After his announcement she tweeted: “Mr. President, delay is welcome. Time is needed for comprehensive immigration reform. Families belong together.”
