The Omnibus Spending Bill GROWS Almost Every Area Of Spending Trump Wanted To CUT

It’s not just that Republicans fail to reduce the size of government when they are in power. That has been a longtime joke nobody ever took seriously. But now they are massively increasing the very departments, agencies, and programs they planned to cut – by a lot.
The omnibus bill, a $582 million-per-page boondoggle, humiliated the president by significantly increasing spending in many of the areas he promised to cut in his budget proposal. By signing this bill, Trump made himself a lame duck and demonstrated that his annual budget proposals aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.
The wide gulf between his budget promises and what he signed is perhaps emblematic of the broader split between what Republicans say and what they do.
Here are some quick examples:
> The Child Care Development Block Grant Program, which Trump promised to cut, will see an increase in funding of about 88 percent.
> Trump promised to end most international food aid programs, yet their budgets increased by 11 percent.
> The IRS was cut even under Obama’s tenure; now it is receiving a modest increase.
> The budget for the National Institutes of Health was supposed to be cut by 22 percent and was instead increased by 8.8 percent. The CDC was to be cut by 16.9 percent and was instead increased by 14.4 percent. --->

You know what? CRY ME A RIVER.

Trump is an imbecile. You think he even WROTE his own budget? He knows EXACTLY NOTHING about his own budget proposals, just like every other issue.

This is a well-known fact. Trump know nothing about policy. Nothing nothing nothing. He has demonstrated this fact time and time again. He doesn't even READ about policy, much less understand it.

He simply doesn't have the brain power for it, or interest, in spite of telling us he has one of the best brains.

LEADERSHIP COMES FROM THE TOP. YOU ALL CHOSE THE WRONG GUY.

Martha,
Trump is requiring a citizenship question on the 2020 Census just like in the good ole days. What do you think of that?

Hi cimbri, I think it's an enormous mistake. Business and government rely heavily on an accurate count, which this makes impossible. No illegal immigrant will go near being counted under these new conditions where ICE deports innocent people and splits up families right and left.

It's just utterly stupid to play politics with this. We need an accurate count of who is living here.
