In Bizarre Email To Donors, Nancy Pelosi Claims Robert Mueller Was ‘Fired’

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the once (and possibly future?) Speaker of the House, has been getting weirder and weirder.

The House Minority Leader has a tough time getting through a short speech, stammers and stutters and misspeaks often, and usually has a befuddled look on her face (well, that's not so new). But now the California Democrat has done something even weirder.

Last week, Pelosi, 78, sent out an email to supporters and donors that was titled "Mueller FIRED." Pelosi called special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating an alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election, “our only hope for justice."

Only Democrats “can protect him," she said, then asked recipients to donate to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
