Court Documents Raise Significant Questions About Leigh Corfman’s Accusations Against Roy Moore

Court documents involving Leigh Corfman, who says that Alabama senatorial candidate Roy Moore tried to engage in a sexual encounter with her when she was 14, raise questions about the timeline and narrative of Corfman’s accusations against the politician.
Those accusations were first publicly disclosed in a Washington Post story citing Corfman and her mother, Nancy Wells, as saying that in early 1979, Roy Moore, then a 32-year-old assistant district attorney, allegedly asked Wells to watch her fourteen-year-old daughter while Wells went into a courtroom for a custody hearing.
Corfman claims that Moore asked the young Corfman for her number. “Days later, she says, he picked her up around the corner from her house in Gadsden,” the Post story states, referring to her mother’s home in Gadsden. Corfman’s parents were divorced.
The first private meeting was arranged after Moore called Corfman on her home phone at her mother’s house, Corfman alleges.

I read this story. Nothing in this story would make me feel as if there was no credibility to the accuser's story. It read more as an attempt by the author to discredit the accuser, which was exactly its purpose. The argument was flimsy at best. It gave me no cause for me to ignore the accusations against him. The number is now nine woman who states that he acted inappropriately. When interviewed he defends himself horribly, his words only cast more doubt. I do not feel he is credible. I feel he is guilty as charged. And for the record, in this case, I would also rather vote for the Democrat than the pedophile. I do not support tribalism.

It could be 100 women but if you don’t bring out your decades old story long before an election, I will ignore it when making a final decision. Don’t reward the manipulators of elections. Last minute October surprises show a political intent and are therefore tainted.

Typical Trump supporter. They all said the same thing when Trump was called out by 19 women for inappropriate sexual behavior, many of which claimed it was just boys being boys or locker room behavior, etc. Goes to show I was correct when stating that like their master, they would rather that a pedophile be elected rather than a Democrat, right?

This is for all the idiots who keep running their mouth about pedophilia -

"Pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children."

Prepubescent is under 13 (children, not teenagers). The girls who accused Moore of trying to date them are 16 or 17 with one person being 14.

It's pretty lame that so many desperate Democrats feel the need to blatantly lie ever day on the internet to make a point. Lying is immoral. Please read your holy book and stop lying. Thanks.

cimbri, semantics, ok. If you prefer, we can say child molester.

You know who should really stop lying tho? Moore and Trump!

You're right, lying is immoral. Trump lies his a--off every single day.

So does Moore.

Like Joel, I find him incredibly lacking in credibility.
