CRUZ MISSILES: Clinton Nominees Weren’t Asked About Paula Jones

GOP Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas criticized Senate Democrats who promised to ask Judge Neil Gorsuch about President Donald Trump’s most controversial comments and policies during confirmation hearings this week.
Democratic members of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary made repeated reference to Trump’s attacks on federal judges, as well as his expansive view of executive power. Cruz argued that asking Gorsuch to answer for Trump’s comments amount to inappropriate political questions for judges.
