Precedent Had Already Been Set

It’s being called ‘extreme vetted’ for the sake of political correctness I assume, but let’s be honest here and call it what it is...the rightful keeping out of our country of those out to kill us all.

Muslims in fact...there I said it...followers of the pseudo-religious political system known as islam...perpetrators of almost 99% of all the acts of terrorism committed both here in our beloved America and worldwide. And know that of the ninety-four Americans murdered in our country since 9/11...murdered in finally what’s being called ‘acts of terrorism’...terrorism either by homegrown or foreign born sorts...what the common denominator in all cases is that these murderers were all devout muslims doing what they did in the name of allah and doing so as they yelled ‘allahu-akbar’ as if on a coordinated cue.

And here are but a few key recent cases in point...in June 2016, U.S. born muslim Omar Matee, the son of Afghan refugees, murdered 49 people and wounded 53 others in the Orlando nightclub shooting. And in December 2015, muslim Tashfeen Malik, a Pakistani, and her U.S. born muslim husband Syed Rizwan Farook, murdered 14 people in San Bernardino, California. And dare we forget Ft. Hood where muslim Nidal Hasan murdered 13 American soldiers in an act of pre-meditated murder...an act fellow muslim Barack HUSSEIN Obama (and yes he is a muslim) first declared his actions a simple act of workplace violence.

And while not all terror attacks on American soil resulted in the death of innocents...here are three incidents that immediately come to mind. In two of those cases the perps were rightfully shot dead at the scene, thus saving our taxpayers dollars that would be wasted keeping them alive for decades, and in the third case, unfortunately, we have to keep this savage alive in a cushy jail cell for his adjudicated sentence of 33 years. That later was the case where back in 2006, Iranian born muslim Mohammed Reza Taheri-Azar plowed a Jeep Cherokee into a crowd of people at the University of North Carolina simply because he wanted revenge for the deaths of muslims he claimed were caused by the United States. The other two cases did result in death of the perps with the first being the September 2016 terrorist attack where Somali muslim Dahir Adan stabbed nine people, some seriously, in a Minnesota shopping mall. And the last example happened in November 2016, when 18-year old muslim Abdul Razak Ali Artan slammed his car into pedestrians at Ohio State University and injured others with a butcher knife...some seriously.

But sadly, under the Obama administration, only the later attack was investigated as a ‘potential act of terrorism,’ but the pattern here cannot and must not be ignored...and thankfully Donald Trump is doing neither.

And while the liberal kumbaya sorts who cannot accept that Hillary Clinton will never be president, and who keep whining that Donald Trump hates all immigrants while at the same time defending the very subjugators of women and beheaders of Christians that he so wants to keep out of our country, documented undeniable history shows that Trump is far from the first to try to keep these savages out of our country. And whether the libs like it or not, their ‘anointed one’ actually laid the groundwork for Trump’s doing what he did.

How so...first, the Obama administration actually stopped processing Iraqi visas for six months in 2011, and then in early 2016, persons from countries part of the ‘Visa Waiver Program’ who had recently been to Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Libya, or Somalia, with a few exceptions, were no longer able to come to the U.S. without a visa. And while not technically stopped from traveling here, said persons now needed to apply for a visa if they did not already have one and they had to be vetted to re-enter the U.S. as well.

Second, it was Obama’s Department of Homeland Security that first named some as persons non-grata if they came from the same seven countries...Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen...that President Trump laid out in his recent executive order. In fact, in February 2016, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen were added by Obama to the already in effect ‘Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015’...an act that already had on its list the countries of Iraq, Iran, Sudan, and Syria.

And this means, much to Obama’s chagrin and probably to the ire of his handlers, that there was already a muslim ban of sorts in place two years before Donald Trump became president. But no matter that muslim immigrants and refugees from the seven above listed countries were already recognized as per the Obama administration as being dangerous to America security, the liberals dared not speak out against it then and the media dare not report that truth of it now for it would shatter their carefully crafted scenario of Obama being the ‘savior of us all.’

So what does this mean in regards to all the pushback Trump is now facing...it means that according to liberals it is okay that it was Obama himself who introduced and implemented this list of dangerous countries...muslim countries all...but it's not okay for President Trump to follow through on its intent.

But if truth be told not wanting these people coming to our country goes back even further than many realize for Donald Trump is not the first modern-day president to temporarily ban certain peoples...mostly muslims...from entering the U.S. In fact, the five presidents before Trump all used executive orders to temporarily do just that.

Let’s start with Barack HUSSEIN Obama himself...the man who actually banned specific people from entering the U.S. while he was in office, with his first order issued during his first term in office when he denied entry to “immigrants or nonimmigrants” as per a then in-effect U.N. travel ban. And he added those very same people to an existing economic sanctions list...a list containing predominantly muslim countries.

How that must have irked Obama to do so while he cited Section 212(f) of the ‘Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952’ which states, “Whenever the president finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrant’s or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

And while Obama cited the same provision five other times...in July 2011 when he barred those under a U.N. travel ban and/or who broke executive orders regarding transactions with terrorists (too bad he did not ban himself for his gun and weapons running operation to the anything but Syrian rebels)...in August 2012 when he banned any and all involved in war crimes or human rights violations...in April 2012 when he banned those aiding Iran or Syria (again he should have banned himself) repeating it again in May 2012...in April 2014 when he banned anyone who threatened South Sudan (whatever that means)...and lastly in March 2014 when he denied entry to any claiming government authority in the Crimea region of Ukraine...the common denominator in all cases is he banned muslims coming from the very same countries that President Trump is now temporarily banning entry to.

Now let's briefly look at the other modern day presidents who also placed bans on certain folks wanting into our country. For example, George W. Bush temporarily banned foreign government officials who did not work to stop human trafficking as well as those whose actions threatened Zimbabwe’s transition to a multi-party democracy, while also temporarily banning Syrian and Lebanese officials he believed threatened Lebanon’s sovereignty. And Billy-Boy Clinton ordered four bans when ethnic conflicts were ongoing in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s, and in 1994 he banned individuals and their immediate family members who aided in formulating, implementing, or who benefited from policies that impeded war-torn Liberia’s transition to democracy from entering our country.

George HW Bush issued one ban in 1991, after a coup in Haiti saw thousands of Haitians leaving the island on make-ship boats for the U.S. overwhelming processing centers set up at the Naval Base at Gitmo. In fact, the order he issued stated that officials “...enforce the suspension of the entry of undocumented aliens by sea and the interdiction of any covered vessel carrying such aliens...” thus allowing the Coast Guard to intercept the boats and send those boats and they people they carry back to Haiti.

Even our beloved Ronald Reagan issued an executive order banning certain groups of people from entering our country. In October 1985, he temporarily banned Cuban officers and those working for the Cuban government and the Communist Party of Cuba, including those who held diplomatic or official passports, from coming here. And Reagan also banned entry to officers of the Cuban-backed Nicaraguan government and the ruling Sandinista National Liberation Front. And let us not forget that in 1980, Jimmy Carter...now the second worst president in American history...banned all Iranians from entering the U.S. after the seizing of the U.S. embassy in Tehran along with the taking of 66 hostages the year before. In fact, Carter had all Iranian students already here check in, if you will, and then deported seven thousand of them who were found to have violated their visas, bringing the total number of Iranians he deported to over 15,000 people.

But this modern-day banning of certain people actually began with the above stated ‘Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952’...also known as the McCarran–Walter Act... which as per Chapter 2 Section 212 disallows admission to the U.S. to the following persons,  “In general any alien who a consular officer or the Attorney General knows, or has reasonable ground to believe, seeks to enter the United States to engage solely, principally, or incidentally in any activity a purpose of which is the opposition to, or the control or overthrow of, the Government of the United States by force, violence, or other unlawful means.” And as this law is still in effect...in fact it's the backbone of our current immigration laws...it could very well apply to muslims in general as they refuse to condemn the actions of the terrorists... the jihadis...who commit crimes against American citizens, our government, and our way of life in the name of allah and islam.

But even more surprising is the fact that banning certain groups of people goes even further back into our nation’s history. For example, in 1882, President Chester A. Arthur signed the ‘Chinese Exclusion Act’...an act that banned both "skilled and unskilled laborers and Chinese employed in mining" from entering our country for 10 years as well as placing restrictions on Chinese people who were already living here by forcing them to secure certificates in order to re-enter if they left the country as well as banning them from becoming citizens. And while this act expired in 1892, it was extended for another 10 years in the form of the ‘Geary Act’...an act that placed even more restrictions on Chinese residents, including forcing them to register and to obtain a certificate of residence, without which they could be deported.

And let's not forget that Democratic presidential icon Franklin D. Roosevelt...a man I believe to have been an anti-Semite...believed that Jewish refugees posed a serious threat to America’s national security. Using the excuse that he feared Nazis could be hiding in the 26,000 German immigrants coming into our country every year, he limited only the number of German Jews he would allow to come here knowing well their fate in Germany. Want proof of this...in June 1939 on his orders the St. Louis ocean liner, carrying 937 Jewish passengers, was not allowed to dock here, thus forcing the ship to return to Europe where most of those onboard met their fate in Hitler’s ovens.

Then there’s President Theodore Roosevelt who in March 1903, signed the ‘Anarchist Exclusion Act’ which banned ‘so-called’ political extremists from entering this country. Implemented after President William McKinley was murdered by Leon Czolgosz, the son of Polish immigrants, this act, also called the ‘Immigration Act of 1903,’ unified previous immigration laws and singled out others deemed to be undesirables who would not be allowed in, including those suffering from certain medical conditions including epilepsy. But the most important aspect about this act is that for the first time in American history people were being banned from entering the U.S. for political reasons alone.

So while the leftist brouhaha continues over President Trump’s rightful banning entry to those from seven muslim countries...and personally I wish he’d ban all muslims as none of them can ever be trusted to put our Constitution above islam and the sharia, or to ever accept that women are equal to men and that acts of savagery have no place in the fabric of our American society...know it is in his legal right as president to do so for precedent was set long ago. And that includes precedent set by one Barack HUSSEIN Obama himself who unbeknownst to him helped lay the groundwork for Trump’s executive order...an executive order that happens to be devoid of the words 'islam' or 'muslim.'

And while Obama...the man who just refuses to go away...keeps saying that this “is not the America we want” and that “it doesn’t reflect our democratic ideals. It will make us less safe”...what I want to know is if he truly believed this then why did he put the six bans in place against his brethren that he did. Guess it's just another case of ‘do what I say not what I do’ now isn’t it...just saying.
