BAD: Ivanka Pushes Half-Trillion Child Care Plan

Let's hope daddy's little girl is only speaking for herself. If she's not and he buys this crap, HE'LL BE A ONE TERM PRESIDENT! We don't need more BIG FRIGGIN GOVERNMENT!

For those who were concerned that Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, who holds no elected or appointed position in the Trump Administration, would advance policies that had nothing to do with conservative principles, you were right.

Last week, Ivanka Trump met with members of the House and Senate to push for a tax overhaul to include a deduction for child care expenses. That proposal could cost as much as $500 billion over the next ten years, according to an estimate by the Tax Foundation.

Dina Powell, a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. executive who advises President Trump on economic policy, is working with Ivanka Trump to push not only for child care benefit, but also forcing employers to pay for maternity leave. GOP members opposed a similar paid maternity plan when it was proposed by Barack Obama.

Ivanka Trump has met with Sheila Marcelo, founder of www.care.com, Wendi Deng, the ex-wife of Twenty-First Century Fox Inc. co-Chairman Rupert Murdoch, International Business Machines Corp. Chief Executive Officer Ginni Rometty, Xerox Corp. Chairman and CEO Ursula Burns, and Deloitte CEO Cathy Engelbert to discuss plans to color President Trump’s economic policy.
