Ted Cruz just put the ACLU on BLAST for attempting to hide the FACTS about Jeff Sessions

It’s the second day of Senator Jeff Sessions’, R-Ala. (C, 78%) attorney general confirmation hearing, and the second day of leftists trying to paint Sessions as a racist.

During his questioning, Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas (A, 97%) focused his attention on David Cole, a Georgetown Law professor and the national legal director for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). In his opening statement to the Judiciary Committee, Cole blasted Sessions for investigating voter fraud in predominately black counties in Alabama while ignoring accusations of voter fraud in predominantly white counties while Sessions was a U.S. Attorney in Alabama in the 1980’s. (For more reading on the particulars of this case, check out this Conservative Review explanation of it.) Cole argued that “Sen. Sessions’ record on voting rights is deeply troubling.”

Senator Ted Cruz wasn’t having it.
