Emphasizing that Republicans have been given a rare opportunity with control of the presidency and both chambers of Congress, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz warned the GOP base will react strongly if nothing changes.
“If we’re given the White House and both houses of Congress and we don’t deliver, I think there will be pitchforks and torches in the streets,” Cruz told Martha Raddatz on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday.
