“The rise in illegal
border crossing by Mexicans [illegal immigrants] to a current rate of more than
1 million cases a year has been accompanied by a curious relaxation in ethical
standards extending all the way from the farmer-exploiters of this contraband
labor to the highest levels of the federal government.”
Dollars and cents...without federal funding those cities not
complying will find themselves facing a domino effect for they will then have
to raise taxes on their residents to pay for all the free stuff illegals receive, forcing those
who can to start leaving for the suburbs and they will take their businesses with them. And
what happens then...the poverty-stricken inner cities grow more demanding as those with their ‘gimmee-gimmee’
hands still out press for even more free stuff, possibly then bankrupted their
city’s budget. But do the mayors of New York City, Chicago, Seattle, Boston,
Providence, Denver, Santa Fe, San Francisco, Los Angeles; Oakland, and
Washington D.C. care...apparently not as they say they will keep their
sanctuary city status at all costs no matter that as per the Center for
Immigration Studies, almost half the households headed by an illegal alien are
receiving welfare, food stamps, and health benefits for both themselves and their
children at said cities expense.

sanctuary cities that have resulted in so many needless deaths. Cities that
refuse to cooperate with federal authorities will not receive taxpayer dollars,
and we will work with Congress to pass legislation to protect those jurisdictions
that do assist federal authorities."
So if these cities still do not voluntarily comply even when ordered to
do so federal immigration agents or the military could force them to
comply just
like President Dwight D. Eisenhower did back in June 1954 when he rid
our
country of nearly 3 million illegal aliens with all going back to
Mexico...their
home. Calling his round-up ‘Operation Wetback,’ Eisenhower had local and
federal officials ‘sweep’ Mexican neighborhoods looking for illegals
with the
result being that within one month 50,000 illegals had been arrested and
deported, while nearly half a million ‘self-deported’ to avoid arrest.
By
September 1954, 80,000 more illegals were deported from Texas, with
between
500,000-700,000 additional illegal aliens fleeing back to Mexico. And
Eisenhower did this with much less man-power and resources than the feds
have
today yet when ‘Operation Wetback’ was completed not only was Eisenhower
able
to seal the border but nearly 3 million illegal aliens had been returned
home
to Mexico. And his actions deterred illegal crossings for years, that is
until
the modern day kumbaya Democratic sorts came into power and started
handing out
all the free stuff in return for the illegal’s vote.
And dare we forget that the Obama administration monetarily rewards
sanctuary cities...and know that there are currently in total 340
sanctuary cities, municipalities, counties,
and states that are considered 'sanctuary locations' within these United
States with 200 of that number being actual sanctuary cities...cities
that protect violent criminal illegal aliens from being deported. And
Obama specifically showers these cities with hundreds of millions if not
billions of dollars in federal monies and grants...monies and grants
that funnel through the Department of Justice (DOJ)...the
very department whose job it is to enforce the immigration laws
currently on
the books but who obviously do nothing of the sort.
So besides having these monies being funneled through the DOJ,
the DOJ has other duties including providing federal leadership in regards to preventing
and controlling crime coupled with seeking “just
punishment” for those guilty of unlawful behavior. And unlawful behavior includes
those behaviors committed by illegal criminal aliens but just ask Kate Steinle’s
parents how well the DOJ did that job. Remember, this is the same DOJ who did
not a thing after the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department refused to honor a detainer
request issued by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for illegal alien Juan
Francisco Lopez-Sanchez. You remember Sanchez...the illegal alien who had seven
prior felony convictions in the U.S. and had been deported to Mexico five
separate times...the very criminal alien living in the sanctuary city of San
Francisco who murdered the Steinle’s daughter.
And know that if the DOJ had done their job their daughter would
be alive today, and so would those others murdered by the more than 9,000
illegal aliens released that the feds were seeking to deport between January 1st
and September 30th of 2014. And at the end of 2015, 69% percent of those
released were still at large within our borders. Now add in that the
liberal Migration Policy Institute had to admit that there are over 800,000
illegal aliens with criminal records, with almost 700,000 of them with felony arrest
records... and those numbers only take into account those who have been arrested and
faced trial NOT those who committed crimes without being
caught. And the final kicker is that hundreds of thousands of criminal aliens are
currently protected from deportation as they await trials and sentences...many hiding out in sanctuary cities.
“Chicago will always
be a sanctuary city”...or so says Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel as he
surrounds himself with the politically correct and oh so required group
of diversity props to make his announcement.
And
while the mayors of the District of Columbia, Boston, Los
Angeles, New York City, and Chicago, have all said that despite the
financial loss their cities will face, they will not change policies in
place that allow them to limit cooperation with immigration-related
requests from the federal
government. And this leads one to wonder exactly why these mayors are so
willing to
lose funding...why they are willing to protect illegal criminal aliens
instead of protected
law-abiding American citizens from the likes of said illegal criminal
aliens.
So again...why?

Sanctuary cities...two words of contention and rightly so
for sanctuary cities are merely a safe haven for those who knowingly and
willingly break our laws, specifically our federal immigration laws. And while
some Democratic mayors in 'so-called' sanctuary cities are ready to take on President-elect
Donald J. Trump by vowing not to abide with Trump’s upcoming deportation orders
for three million criminal illegal aliens, the fact is that in the end they
will be forced to do so. And why...because it all comes down to dollar
and cents.

And key to all this is that if said city’s mayors refuse to
shed their sanctuary city designation...a designation that simply means that
local police will not coordinate with federal law enforcement in efforts to deport
undocumented aliens...then they would be in direct violation of federal law
with the Supreme Court agreeing saying that "the
State may not pursue policies that undermine federal law"...which the
cities refusing to drop the sanctuary city designation would surely be doing. More
on that in a bit.

And know that today’s sanctuary cities exist because the DOJ
knew that as long as Obama was president they did not have prosecute anyone
especially since local law enforcement officials are not required to contact
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement about the immigration status of people
they come in contact with nor are they required to notify the feds when an illegal
alien is about to be released from custody. In fact, New York and Los Angeles
do not hold undocumented inmates in jail at the request of the U.S. Department
of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) unless the detainer request is
accompanied by a judge's order.
And with Obama as president, this past five years alone saw $3.4+
billion in federal funds going to sanctuary states and cities with $342,168,401
specifically going to 10 major sanctuary cities including $132,409,635 going to
California with San Francisco receiving the bulk of those dollars, and with New
York City and Chicago receiving $60,091,942 and $28,523,222 respectively. A
cash cow Donald J. Trump hopes to soon rightfully end for those monies can
surely be used elsewhere...like to help homeless veterans perhaps.

And while Rahm Emanuel might think he can do as he so chooses,
legally he is completely wrong for sanctuary cities are indeed a violation of
federal law as per 8 USC section 1324, ‘Bringing in and harboring certain

So what exactly can the now President Trump legally do
especially since precedent for deportation has already been set as per the
above stated actions of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. First it’s important to
remember that states and cities cannot be required to enforce federal law, and
there is no U.S. requirement that tells police to ask about a person's
immigration status, so that leaves Trump the option to legally pull funding
from said cities if they do not comply.
And
while the mayors of the District of Columbia, Boston, Los
Angeles, New York City, and Chicago, have all said that despite the

willing to

In fact, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has taken this
stance to the nth degree by publicly stating that he would destroy a database of
"undocumented immigrants" who have city identification cards before he would ever hand that
database over to Trump. “We are not going
to sacrifice a half-million people who live amongst us...We will do everything we know how to do to
resist that” were de Blasio's exact words.
Could the answer be as simple as these mayors know that in
due time they will get their funding back through other means...maybe even through sham
programs they propose and set up in such a way as to be perceived as programs presented in the name of the
public good thus making them eligible for federal funding...or maybe it is because they know that even if
some of the now currently released 10,000 criminal illegal aliens do go on to commit
further crimes, they know from past incidents that the public outcry will be
very short-lived and soon die down without the political problems and ensuing public outcry
that would come from mass deportations that could include the breaking up of
families.
So for now President-elect Donald J. Trump is standing
strong on ridding our country of so-called sanctuary cities which in reality
are nothing but hide-outs for illegal criminal aliens, and seeing how Trump
operates you just know sanctuary cities days are numbered even if he has to do
it through executive order. And if that be the case then so be it.
