Here Are 7 Things Trump Has Done Republicans Would Never Tolerate Hillary Doing

This is a link to Zappos, a site for buying shoes.
I am presenting this link for your consideration because it seems that many Republicans, overwhelmed with the joy of seeing a Republican in the White House, are failing to hold President-Elect Trump to any standard for behavior whatsoever. Thus, I ask you to buy shoes – or rather, a shoe, and place it on the other foot. Imagine if Hillary Clinton had been elected and then spent two weeks doing the following:
1. Refusing To Separate From Business Ties. In the past few days, Donald Trump has met with his Indian business partners on Trump properties; Trump Hotel invited members of local embassies to the facilities “to encourage them to use it when leaders from their countries visited Washington.” On Tuesday morning, Trump tweeted, “Prior to the election it was well known that I have interests in properties all over the world. Only the crooked media makes this a big deal!” Well, actually Trump promised to divest himself of his business interests by placing them in a blind trust, then backed off of that promise because it would mean separating the Trump children from running the Trump companies. Imagine if Hillary Clinton pledged to separate from the Clinton Foundation, then insisted instead that everybody knew of her involvement with it and she’d leave Chelsea in charge. Or imagine if Hillary Clinton had claimed that the Clinton Foundation wasn’t corrupt, then admitted after election that it was indeed corrupt. Well, this morning The Washington Post reported that the Trump Foundation had admitted to the IRS to engaging in “self-dealing.”
2. Brought Family Into The Mix. Trump has staffed up with his children. Ivanka secretly attended a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Eric and Donald Jr. have been rumored for security clearance – an issue the Trump administration later blamed on a “low-level staffer.” Again, imagine if Hillary Clinton brought Chelsea along as a top advisor. Would conservatives go nuts? You bet they would.
3. Talking About Blowing Out Government Spending. Trump’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, has already stated that he wants to blow out government spending. “The conservatives are going to go crazy. I'm the guy pushing a trillion-dollar infrastructure plan. With negative interest rates throughout the world, it's the greatest opportunity to rebuild everything. Ship yards, iron works, get them all jacked up. We're just going to throw it up against the wall and see if it sticks. It will be as exciting as the 1930s…” Imagine those words emanating from John Podesta. Would you feel differently about them?
