Poll: Clinton 10 points ahead of Trump nationally

Hillary Clinton has a 10-point lead over Donald Trump nationally, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released on Thursday.
The poll found the Democratic nominee with 51% support among likely voters, while 41% back Trump.
When third-party candidates were added into the mix, Clinton was 7 points ahead of Trump, 45%-38%. Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson came in at 10%, and the Green Party’s Jill Stein had the support of 4% of likely voters.
“We are starting to hear the faint rumblings of a Hillary Clinton landslide as her 10-point lead is further proof that Donald Trump is in a downward spiral as the clock ticks,” said Tim Malloy, the poll's assistant director.
