Trump Suggests Troops Stole Iraq Reconstruction Funds

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump seemed to suggest Tuesday night that troops stole money that was supposed to go toward rebuilding Iraq.
“How about bringing baskets of money, millions and millions of dollars, and handing it out,” Mr. Trump said during a campaign rally in Greensboro, N.C. “I want to know, who are the soldiers that had that job. Because I think they are living very well right now, whoever they may be.”

... Mr. Trump made a similar accusation about American troops redirecting funds earmarked for Iraqi reconstruction during a campaign stop in New Hampshire in September.
“Remember when they were handing out $50 million in cash,” he said in Keene, N.H. “Cash! They were going through Afghanistan, paying off. I want to know, who are the soldiers that are carrying cash of $50 million. Cash! How stupid are we? I wouldn’t be surprised, with those soldiers, I wouldn’t be surprised if the cash didn’t get there, I have to be honest.” ...

There were numerous convictions for theft and fraud by us govt personnel, including the military. Every soldier isn't an angel just like every policeman or teacher isn't an angel. Sometimes I don't know what to make of human beings. They spend most of their time playing dumb.
