Ted Cruz Raised $12.5 Million in March

Mr. Cruz has consistently out-raised his remaining Republican rivals.
Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz raised about $12.5 million in March, his campaign said Friday, likely maintaining his slot as the most prolific fundraiser in the Republican field.
The Texas senator’s March fundraising brings his total haul for the first quarter of 2016 to $32 million. He has raised more than $80 million over the course of the cycle.
“By far a new record!” campaign manager Jeff Roe wrote on Twitter Friday.
Mr. Roe said the campaign had received 612,000 donations, with an average contribution of $60.
Mr. Cruz has consistently out-raised his remaining Republican rivals. He brought in $11.8 million in February and $7.5 million the previous month. At the end of February, the last disclosure available, he had $8 million in the bank. His campaign did not disclose an updated cash-on-hand figure on Friday
