Syria shocker: Obama’s Pentagon helps Russia track U.S. Special Forces

A-10 Warthog ground support aircraft. U.S. Air Force
For the past two months the Obama administration has quietly been informing Russia where U.S. Special Operations forces are clandestinely fighting in Syria.
Late last year, under President Obama’s orders, teams of about 50 U.S. Special Ops forces, among others, began ranging within Syria, mostly in the northeast, in secret operations against ISIS and training rebel forces fighting troops of President Bashir al Assad.
However, Russian ground and air forces are also operating across Syria. According to President Vladimir Putin, they’re fighting ISIS. But on-the ground reality indicates they’re actually helping the shaky Assad regime combat the very same rebels the U.S. is helping.
The proximity of lethal Russian and U.S. forces battling at counter-purposes is particularly dangerous.
Since December Pentagon officials have been passing on to Russian defense officials where the U.S. troops are “with the hopes that Russian aircraft will steer clear of that area” and not attack U.S. troops, according to a report by Andrew Tilghman in the authoritative Military Times, .
With the hopes?
Seriously? There are American soldiers’ lives at risk here! From the weapons of Russia, Syria and ISIS. And the world’s most powerful military under Commander-in-Chief Obama naively “hopes” Russia won’t hurt them?
Remember, this Democrat does not see Russia as America’s worst threat. Obama claims that global warming is the most serious danger to U.S. national security. This is the same guy who thinks ObamaCare is a grand success and the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism will suddenly go sane if we bribe them.
