Obama, NRA's Next President?

Second Amendment: The president is expected to announce new orders curbing gun sales. If he really wants to limit the number of guns, he should just shut up. Every time he opens his mouth, gun sales go through the roof.
Obama has done more to proliferate private civilian ownership of guns than any other president in history. In fact, presidential historians should call him "The Gun President."
Heck, the National Rifle Association might even want to recruit him should Wayne LaPierre retire. Obama has driven NRA membership to near-record highs.
More than 100 million guns have been sold in the U.S. since Obama was elected president. Combined firearms and ammunition sales have more than doubled during his anti-gun administration.
According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, total gun and ammo revenue rocketed to an inflation-adjusted peak of $2.1 billion in 2013 from more than $900 million in 2008, before settling down to almost $1.7 billion in 2014.
The Washington Post figures that "Barack Obama has likely given a $9 billion boost to the gun industry."
