Do Churches Have a Responsibility to Turn over Illegal Immigrants?

he murder of Kate Steinle by illegal immigrant Francisco Sanchez has sparked a nationwide debate over the issue of sanctuary cities.
Now, churches are in the spotlight. Houses of worship in 23 states and Washington, D.C., are offering or supporting sanctuary for illegal immigrants. But do churches actually have a responsibility to turn those illegal immigrants over?

Pastor Robert Jeffress and Dr. Richard Land joined Leland Vittert on "Fox and Friends Weekend" to debate the issue.
"We’re not going to check the immigration status of people who attend our church, but we’re also not going to harbor illegal immigrants who are criminals like some of these churches are doing," Jeffress said.
