Obama's Incredible Insult: Racism inhabits Americans' DNA

Barack Obama made a revealing -- and disappointing -- observation in a podcast interview the other day.
The interview with a comedian named Marc Maron received extensive news coverage because Obama used a crude term for black people, usually bleeped in audio or described in print as n-----.
But that's not what caught our ear.
What shocked was Obama's open declaration in a public forum that Americans are racists by their very genetic nature. For some reason, most media skipped right past the ugly utterance.
It's an incredible charge to be made by the first black American president, a man who received 69.5 million votes from his countrymen in 2008 and 65.9 million votes from apparent racists in 2012.
Does nothing ever satisfy this arrogant fellow? Would even a unanimous vote of every single American convince this aloof man that most of his fellow citizens abide with good hearts genuinely open to awarding their highest office regardless of skin color?
Here's what Obama said:
"The legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination in almost every institution of our lives. You know, that casts a long shadow and that’s still part of our DNA that’s passed on. We’re not cured of it. Racism we are not cured of, clearly."
Now, if this was some city councilman in Tupelo or Hamtramck, people might overlook an ignorant stereotyping, profiling observation that racism is embedded in all Americans' genetic makeup. But this is a graduate of both Columbia and Harvard Universities. Sadly revealing of his true feelings, it seems.
True, Obama has never allowed the public to see his college transcripts. And he has at times during these past nine years shown flashes of surprising ignorance. referring to all 57 states, the president of Canada, the incorrect U.S. motto and how Austrians speak Austrian, among others.
But are we to believe this 53-year-old lawyer and two-term president is unaware that DNA is inherited? That if racism is in our DNA, it can no more be cured or changed by education or good will than the shape of our nose or chin, a proclivity to cancer or the color of our eyes or skin?
