North Korea: Kim Jong Un is said to have executed his defense minister in an anti-aircraft fusillade. Seems the shark tank no longer suffices. This regime is very much the freak show the supreme leader said it wasn't.

The South Korean intelligence report isn't the first story of Stalin-style summary executions in the Hermit Kingdom. But it does stand out.

The report says North Korea's defense minister, Hyon Yong Chol, was executed by antiaircraft fire at a distance of 100 feet before a live audience of hundreds.

His crime?

Not leaking the North Korean nuclear secrets he was in charge of but dozing off during a Kim speech and giving him back talk over something else.

It follows a report that 15 senior officials who complained about Kim's directives already have been executed this year as "spies." Two were vice ministers, and four were members of the national orchestra.
