Poland to Block ‘Night Wolves’ Russian Motorcycle Group at Border...GOOD FOR THEM!

Poland said on Friday it would deny entry to a Russian nationalist motorcycle group that had planned to go to Berlin for the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, a ride around Central Europe that is seen here as a Russian provocation.
The Polish foreign ministry said Friday it had given a note to the Russian Embassy in Warsaw saying the group, which was set to leave Moscow on Saturday, wouldn’t be allowed to enter because Poland didn’t have enough information to ensure safe travel for the group, known as Night Wolves.
Polish government officials have criticized the planned ride but were initially inclined to ignore the bikers, who are loyal to President Vladimir Putin and who backed Russia’s annexation of Crimea from Ukraine last year. In December, U.S. President Barack Obama added the Night Wolves leader Alexander Zaldostanov to a list of companies and people the U.S. prohibits trade with as part of sanctions against Russia.
