OBAMAgration: A New Border Surge

Immigration: A Texas governor's warning of yet another migrant surge underlines just why the president needs to get serious about securing the border as he doubles down on plans to shut down DHS to ensure his amnesty funding.
President Obama is busy playing political games with his vow to shut down the entire Department of Homeland Security unless Congress gives him all the amnesty cash he wants for foreign nationals who have broken U.S. immigration law. 
He seems confident he can let the country go unprotected and that, if it leads to a terrorist attack, he's free to blame it on the opposition. As usual, his position is rooted in politics — a belief that handing out amnesty accompanied by unending benefits will ensure a new stream of reliable voters for his party as it otherwise grows unpopular.
But new Texas Gov. Greg Abbott warns that it's not a game. Obama's beneficence has brought a new border surge and with it the chaos and violence that come of any cartel smuggling operation.
On "Face The Nation" Sunday, Abbott reported that 20,000 illegals have entered the U.S. from Central America since just Jan. 1, while the president has reneged on his own promise to first deport last summer's arrivals.
