Obama Want's to Fight ISIS with a Valentine's Message

President Obama has named the first of the "concrete steps" that must be taken against IS, the monster that has emerged in parts of Iraq and Syria in the wake of the U.S. troop withdrawal, ruling a territory now bigger than Britain.
"First, we have to confront squarely and honestly the twisted ideologies that these terrorist groups use to incite people to violence," the president said Wednesday.
He soon read a Valentine's Day card he got from a Muslim-American fifth-grader, who told him, "If some Muslims do bad things, that doesn't mean all of them do." She also asked the president to "please tell everyone that we are good people and we're just like everyone else."
According to Obama, "that's how we discredit violent ideologies, by making sure her voice is lifted up."
Few Americans have ever thought it wise to go by cute little girls' advice on national security. But the inanity of the thinking on Islamist terrorism goes down the ranks in this administration.
