Chris Christie Talks N.J. with Eye on GOP Prize (Includes Christie State of the State Address 01-13-15)

Chris Christie used his State of the State message Tuesday to reiterate his accomplishments in five years as governor of New Jersey. But a big chunk of his 40-minute-plus address could double as a stump speech aimed at four years in the White House.
“We are a nation beset by anxiety,” Christie said. “America’s leadership in the world is called into question because of a pattern of indecision and inconsistency. During this time of uncertainty it seems our leaders in Washington would rather stoke division for their own political gain.”
Christie referred indirectly to his year of travels campaigning and fundraising as chairman of the Republican Governors Association, which took him out of the state for more than 150 days in 2014.
