Check your Gag Reflex: Obama Library Bidders asked to Submit Qualifications

Supporters of President Obama charged with heading the hunt for his future presidential library announced Thursday that institutions that want to host the library will soon have to submit their qualifications.   
The Barack Obama Foundation says interested institutions will have until June 16 to provide initial information about how their proposals "will fulfill the guiding principles" of the library.
Interested groups are asked to offer details about their proposed sites, including transportation access. The foundation will determine whether an interested party could successfully build the library. 
"Our goal is to build a library of which the whole country, and hopefully the whole world, can be proud," said Martin Nesbitt, one of the three heads of Obama's library foundation and longtime friend of the president. "Our vision is to create a space that reflects President Obama's values and priorities throughout his career in public service and serves as a force for good in the surrounding community and throughout our world."
