Unaccompanied Minors who cross the border Illegally are beating the system.....WHY IS THAT?

A record number of minors traveling alone are entering the U.S. illegally, presenting a new humanitarian and fiscal challenge as Congress grapples with the fate of 11 million undocumented residents already here.
In a report to be released Thursday, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops forecasts that 60,000 unaccompanied minors from Central America will cross the Southwest border into the U.S. this year. That is up from less than 25,000 the year before, and just 5,800 a decade ago. Border-watchers say it highlights violence and unrest in several Central American countries. Minors who cross from Mexico are almost always repatriated.
Since 2011, the U.S. "has seen an unprecedented increase in the number of unaccompanied migrating children" crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, the Washington-based bishops' group reports, citing a surge in Border Patrol apprehensions.
Many of the youngsters are released to relatives in the U.S. who are themselves undocumented immigrants, which some critics have said amounts to abetting rather than prosecuting migrant trafficking. The minors are handled by an array of government agencies, all with different responsibilities for their supervision, often passing through shelters funded by the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement, an arm of the Department of Health and Human Services. Many are placed in removal proceedings and later deported. Others manage to benefit from provisions in immigration law that enable them to remain in the U.S. legally.
[...]
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah), chairman of a House subcommittee on national security, called the number of illegal minors "astronomical" but pointed to U.S. policies as a prime motivating factor. "There's a surge of young people who think there's going to be an amnesty," he said. (emphasis mine)

HOW'S THIS...Take the relatives who are here ILLEGALLY and the minor(s), and escort the whole bunch of them back to the other side of the border where the adult relatives can re-unite the minors with their family....BACK HOME where they ALL belong.

This loophole (or what ever the hell you want to call it) is an OPEN INVITATION for MORE MINORS to do the same thing.

If these border agents don't have the aggies to enforce the laws...fire them and hire folks that will.

Relatives or non-relatives. If they're ILLEGAL..SEND THEM ALL THE HELL BACK HOME...WHERE THEY BELONG!
