New Jersey: Highest Property Taxes In Nation - Higher Increase Under Christie Than Corzine

The increases have accelerated during Chris Christie's tenure as Governor.

Even worse than Corzine? Yep.

...Net property taxes in New Jersey rose 18.6 percent in Gov. Chris Christie's first three years in office, compared to just 6 percent in Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine's last three years in office, a New Jersey Spotlight analysis shows....

Via Breitbart:

....Not coincidentally, according to Chicago magazine, New Jersey and Illinois hold the top two spots in number of people moving out of state.

Illinois is moving to outpace New Jersey over the next several years. But New Jersey's persistently high taxes could pose a problem for Gov. Chris Christie as he prepares (evidently) to mount a nationwide campaign for the presidency in 2016. His state's economy has barely improved since he took office in 2010, and while he has done some work to spending and pension costs, the fact that New Jersey still loses to Illinois on taxes is a bad sign.

Once 2016 primary/caucus voters discover that Christie's REAL record is a FAR CRY from the one hyped by CBSNBCABCCNNFOX, he's political toast, roadkill, stick a fork in him. It'll be almost a mirror image of Rudy Giuliani's fall from grace during the 2008 cycle.

Christie, like every good Republican in the extremely liberal Northeast gets policies moved as far right as possible, while still being able to remain in office.

People have been moving from NJ for 50 years. It's the cold, legacy pension costs, aging of the population looking for Florida and a dozen other things that will not be replaced in 4 or 8 years.

What a brain dead article headline from Breitbart.

Yes, Cimbri. But Christie hasn't exactly moved the ball in the other direction. Worse than Corzine on property taxes. 'Nuff said.

Romney didn't raise taxes in MA. There were fees for licenses/user fees but only if you used those services..
