Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) spoke at the 2013 Wall Street Journal CEO Council about political leadership. He blamed both Republicans and Democrats in Washington for the government shutdown and a failure to lead, and criticized the Affordable Care Act, saying “it’s a failure and it won’t succeed.” He also avoided answering questions about a possible presidential run:
