Obamacare Exchanges generate more Error Messages than Coverage

Team Obama claims that over the first days of the online exchanges, 8 million people visited them either out of curiosity, information, or to purchase Insurance:
Alas, the administration managed to turn the experience for most of those visitors into a nightmare. Websites crashed, refused to load, or offered bizarre and incomprehensible choices. Even though the system was shut down for repairs over the weekend, Monday's early reports continued to suggest an epic screw-up.
Why have things gone so wrong?
President Obama's chief technology adviser, Todd Park, blames the unexpectedly large numbers of people who flocked to Healthcare.gov and state websites. "Take away the volume and it works," he told USA TODAY's Tim Mullaney.
That's like saying that except for the torrential rain, it's a really nice day. Was Park not listening to the administration's daily weather report predicting Obamacare's popularity?
Park said the administration expected 50,000 to 60,000 simultaneous users. It got 250,000. Compare that with the similarly rocky debut seven years ago of exchanges to obtain Medicare drug coverage. The Bush administration projected 20,000 simultaneous users and built capacity for 150,000.
That's the difference between competence and incompetence.
The too-much-demand excuse also is less than the full story. In addition to grossly underestimating demand, the administration and its contractors seem to have made mistakes in building the websites. The system for verifying consumer identity has had persistent problems, as have pull-down menus.
Nor were problems confined to the 36 state health exchanges run by the federal government. Sites run by 14 states and Washington, D.C., bogged down because they have to refer to federal databases to verify consumers' identity.

Time for Team Obama to admit that this exchange is a train wreck and scrap it. If Obama is too pig headed to scrap it, then the insurance mandate for all Americans should be postponed for at least a year.

IT'S now BEYOND EMBARRASSING and teetering on pathetic. If this was the business world, everyone involved would be fired.

700 billion to build this crap?! How is anyone supposed to have confidence in this?! Why in the world would anyone go and try to sign up now, after all this craziness? How can you trust that your info is secure? You can't. How can you know if you are getting the best price? The right coverage for your family? You can't.

This is truly unbelievable. There is no way it cannot be postponed for at least a year. Plus, I would like THE REAL NUMBER of people who have successfully signed up. It seems to be optimistic to say hundreds.

Glenn Beck said His website gets far more traffic than healthcare.gov, and cost about $150,000 to build. Sounds to me like a political payoff to someone who has no clue what they're doing. Mostly crickets from the media on this......

Name me anything- public or private that don't have teething problems at the start...

You'll love the exchange's and plans when you eventually come to terms that it's the way it's going to be.

Well, if you can get you head over the fact that pre existings won't be discriminated against that is

Pity that eh?

RM, you just keep thinking that. Pre-existings are the only people with a reason to sign up. Unfortunately, they need healthy people too, or the whole thing goes bankrupt before we inaugurate President Cruz in 2016.

RW, when all is said and done, it is the MEDIA who are to blame for the Obama administration. They continue, to this very hour to insulate Obama from any and all accountability or criticism for his corruption, lies, incompetence, malfeasance, and yes even treason.

I find it sickly ironic that the administration is now accusing the GOP of economic treason!

What in the hell has the media been doing for the past 5 years? Certainly, not their job.

Plus, I believe they are holding the media hostage with mafia tactics. They have spied on their emails and all communications. They now know the dirty little secrets of every journalist. They keep them in line easily, now--not that the media was not already pre-disposed to protect and cover for Obama--their leftist dream guy, but now they really have no choice.

We have been overtaken, and the latest little shutdown scare stunts are just Obama making sure we know who controls us.

We've lost our country as far as I can tell. There is no amount of corruption that Obama cannot get away with.

That was me, Martha.

Health care is literally a matter of life and death. Who in their right mind thought the government would care? It is written all over this medical atrocity that Obama is "Death to America" crowd.

This Obama "care" was always about generating tons of new taxes, never about giving service. And it makes America a police state. A delay is NOT enough, but it could help to delay it one year. It's only fair to let the People have a chance to send a new Congress and new Senators who will rid us of it.

Obama's plan was also meant to bribe illegals as a magnet. It always was about creating new Democrats, since the original model is nearly extinct. This new group doesn't care about civil liberties, and they don't care about gun confiscation.

Having illegal-entry democrats was meant to ensure they'd be anti-American and socialists, who do not respect being governed by Law.

If Obama were about "caring," he'd have created the new doctors first, NOT millions of new customers with no new doctors. Don't be duped.

Obama is about plunder. Qur'an has little mention of how to get into heaven. There is one path mentioned: dying in the act of plundering and / or killing for Allah. That is the Qur'an's promise and guidance. Now you know how to make it to paradise, if you're Muslim. They lie to infidels to cover this up. They rabidly hate infidels, and they believe they are suppose to lie to infidels to benefit Allah.

Obama's has turned Homeland Security over to the Muslim Brotherhood, so who beieves we should put the Muslim Brotherhood over our health "care"?

Nobody should let anyone make you wonder why they hate us that much. They've had these fascist, imperialist methods and intents for 1200's years. We are NOT to blame; former Muslims explain that there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim.
They have the original word "hoodna" from whence we got our word, "hoodwink."
