Gov Chris Christie: Both Parties to Blame for Fiscal Crisis in Washington (Full interview 10-14-13)

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie blames both political parties for the fiscal crisis in Washington, telling Fox News' Greta Van Susteren neither side will emerge "unscathed" in the eyes of voters.
Christie, a potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate, said on "On the Record" Monday "both sides are a disappointment" in the ongoing fight over the partial government shutdown and the debt ceiling.
"This is part of the whole problem with what they’re engaged in right now. They’re hired to run the government, not to close it and they should be getting their job done but they’re not and both sides are a disappointment," he said.
Christie added he believes voters are blaming both Republicans and Democrats equally for their inability to compromise on a solution.

More of the same from Christie. He still has an election to win, but I guess he doesn't feel the need to actually be a Republican in any circumstance - ever? We'll see how that works in 2016.

Indeed, good job he never authored Obamacare, promoted a 'woman's right to choose', plus being a Mormon.

I guess he is distrusted by the base- as was Romney- and as confiremed not just by media rhetroic, but by 'conservative' voters staying at home last Nov.

'The base decided Repulican Primaries' is a (paraphrased)line I often hear.

Indeed, as seen by the nominees Romney and McCain.
