Sen Rand Paul vs John Kerry: Syria's Assad and his use of Chemical Weapons (Video 09-03-13)

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) questioned Secretary of State John Kerry during today’s Senate Foreign Relations Committee Hearing over using military action against Syria. Sen. Paul stated that the power to use military force lies with Congress, not the president 

He raised doubt over whether Israel and the region will be safer with or without an attack, and if Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will be more or less likely to use chemical weapons after a strike. “I think it’s equally likely that he either does it again or he doesn’t do it. […] I don’t know that we can say that by attacking them, he’s not going to launch another chemical attack.”
