A MUST Watch Prankvertisement

It could be the end of the world. Or maybe it's just the end of marketing as we know it.   
In either case, LG Electronics' video prank — which makes the poor subjects in the video think they're watching the imminent end of the world — has gone seriously viral, and could kick-start a slew of marketers to try similar so-called prankvertisements. 
Although the video was originally posted for the big-screen TV maker's Chile market, it's become internationally buzz-worthy and attracted hundreds of thousands of YouTube views. To attract a generation of bleary-eyed Millennials, marketers such as LG are turning to an outrageous form of digital Candid Camera-on-steroids pranks. It's reality TV gone nasty. Popularized by sites such as Vine, the aim is to catch and film folks in the most embarrassing, degrading or — in this case — scary-as-hell situations.
