Contrast: Corruption vs. Competence

Contrast:

Barack Obama's administration has been riddled with scandal, from Fast 'n Furious and Solyndra to IRS micro-targeting and AP press intimidation, not to mention the lies after Benghazi, lies revealed by sworn testimony from distinguished whistle-blowers.

Mitt Romney's administration of the Salt Lake City Olympics rooted out scandal, competently managed security in the aftermath of 9/11, and made America proud again. Not to mention his streamlining of the Massachusetts government, taking it from a half a billion dollar deficit and the verge of bankruptcy to a balanced budget and a rainy day surplus in just a few years.

Whatever your politics, records matter. America made a mistake in November 2012. For 2016, we need a re-do. There's still time to reverse the damage, and I know just the turnaround expert for the job.

Optimism, my friends. The tide is finally--FINALLY--turning. Works done in darkness are coming to light. America's best days are still ahead of her. Keep working, keep praying, keep looking to the future.

IMO IF the MSM would have done their job of vetting Obama in '07 he would have never been elected in the first place. Obama sure makes me miss Bush even more than I already did. One thing we are learning with all the scandals - is that Hillary is just as incompetent as Obama.

lol, 'Romney 2016'? Please tell me this is some sort of sick joke.

He had his chance + a billion bucks, but running general election campaigns- effectively- are serious things.

Not a joke, RomneyMan, and certainly not sick. You may be surprised to learn that Romney still has millions of loyal supporters who would love to see him do a turnaround on Washington. Which makes your name ironic. Well played.

I can hereby confirm that former MA Gov Mitt Romney will not be running (*again*) for President in 2016.

I don't think Mitt will run again, but I would LOVE to see him as President. He would be great. Romneyman, your contents frequently get on my nerves. If ever there was an armchair quarterback, it would be you....

With all that we are learning about the power of the gov't being used to stymy the opposition, which definitely would include Mitt, perhaps even you can admit that he did better than most would have in that situation. Or maybe I have a higher opinion of your intellect than it deserves....

There's no doubt that Romney would be a far better POTUS than the current one, but he repeatedly stated before November 6th that he won't give it another try if he loses, and he reiterated that point after his defeat.

Even if Romney did try again in 2016, he would have virtually ZERO CHANCE of winning the nomination.

Romney had his chance in 2012, but failed to capitalize on it.

GOP primary voters will NOT allow Romney a second chance to lose another very winnable election, and rightfully so.
