Obama blew it and Romney was right about The Fisker Automobile Co.

Romney was right About Fisker back in 2012 and told Obama so:

Now You Decide:
Fisker Automotive defaulted on a federal loan that cost U.S. taxpayers nearly $200 million, but congressional Republicans focused Wednesday on the Obama administration, asking why officials appeared to overlook deadlines and other possible red flags that led to the company’s collapse.
[...]
The potential loss of $171 million would be the largest loss of federal loan money since the 2011 failure of solar panel maker Solyndra. That company's collapse, which came despite a $528 million loan from the Energy Department, has triggered criticism of the Obama administration's green energy program.

Bosman, do you think people will eventually wake up and see the truth about Obama and what he is doing?

Look at the way he has handled terrorism. I thought Tom Cotton was absolutely right to point out the Bush's success and Obama' failures.

Do you think people will finally get fed up? I'm not holding my breath. I imagine if Romney were in, the man would not have been read his miranda rights yet.

Martha,

"Bosman, do you think people will eventually wake up and see the truth about Obama and what he is doing?"

No...we're the minority...we're all fed-up.

The rest will get fed-up IF and when we get them all off their collective ass and beck to work, stop the handouts, stop abortions, have border security, stop Gay Marriages...That's when the rest of America will get fed up.

That's where we are now in American society.

Bosman, yes. And THAT'S why Romney lost, contrary to what some people think.

He was not a bad candidate or even an average candidate. He was THE BEST America had to offer. Yet was rejected because our country/culture is in decline and people are past feeling.

That is why a mass murdering abortion doctor is allowed to go quietly by, and Obama can say things like God Bless America to butchers, and most don't really give a damn.

That's why Benghazi and actually nearly every offense the administration has done doesn't matter. And now we see that the government isn't doing it's job like it did when Bush was president. We are going to have more Bostons.

I meant to write Obama can say 'God bless YOU' to butchers. Which is even worse.

He was a bad candidate.....otherwise he wouldn't have lost to the worst president in history.

I think more people are fed up than you think. Problem is, not all of them showed up to the polls. Not everyone is a reliable voter. Romney was on the right track in the first debate, but decided to play nice from that point on. That's not how you defeat a community organizer who's willing to do whatever is necessary to defeat you.

RW, wake up. People DON'T THINK he is the worst president in history! No matter what he does, his approval stays the same.

You will see in the next election. Our candidate will lose to Hillary. We don't have ONE SINGLE PERSON who can be a better candidate than Romney.

After yesterday, I miss Bush. He may be the last decent president we have. The only thing that can save us now is if something way more terrible than Boston happens, and people start to wake up.

RW, I hope more people are fed up than I think. I hope I am wrong, but circumstances are what they are, and it's not encouraging. And now the party is blowing up over immigration.

Right Wingnut is 100% correct.

After his superb performance in the first debate, Romney soared to a 7-point lead in the Gallup poll.

But that lead evaporated after Romney's poor performance in the second debate, and he lost even more ground after his poor showing in the final debate.

Romney's failure to hold Obama accountable for his radical associations, Benghazi, Fast & Furious and other controversies past and present was fatal to his campaign, as were his numerous gaffes which Team Obama took full advantage of, with a little help from their friends in the State Run Media.

George Bush would never have won the 2004 presidential election had he and his team not held John Kerry accountable in the Swift Boat controversy, and he would never have won the 2000 presidential election had he not held Al Gore accountable for his support of Bill Clinton during his impeachment.

Nor would Bush have won those two elections had he made the frequent gaffes that Romney made.

In a perfect world, gaffes, campaign ads and debate performance wouldn't determine the outcome of presidential elections.

But the world is not perfect. It's the responsibility of the candidates and their teams to deal with that reality. Team Obama did, Team Romney did not, much to the chagrin of us all.

Bush would not have won if he were running against the first black democratic nominee. No way in hell. And Bush had gaffes a-plenty.

Why this is too funny:

"He was not a bad candidate or even an average candidate. He was THE BEST America had to offer." lol, 'had to offer' amongst perhaps the worst running field in history.

"And now we see that the government isn't doing it's job like it did when Bush was president." It's been 4.5 years since Bush was president. Are they 'suddenly' seeing it, i.e, 'suddenly' after 4.5 years?

Another poster:
"You will see in the next election. Our candidate will lose to Hillary." True and it will be more than lose- buried more like. However not because "We don't have ONE SINGLE PERSON who can be a better candidate than Romney" (tell me you're joking there, please), but because she's Hillary and the wave that will unfortunately go with her will be massive. Many predicted names for the GOP may well not run (ala when they decided not to last time, s OB's approval rating was quite good around the time candidates throw their hat in the ring), as only a clown thinks anyone will be in with a shot vs Hillary. It will be painful to watch.
