Bet those ole' cobservative folks at the IA caucuses will be lovin' this speech. Paul will be the/attract many of the Santy-type voters in '16. But Paul is more polished and broder based. And recall, Santy may not have won in '12, but he put out a few scares along the way. Look to Paul to do the same next cycle- but push it even harder.
Rand Paul doesn't have the baggage, the skeletons in his closet, that the 2012 GOP candidates had.
No flip-flops, backroom deals, crony capitalist lobbying contracts or extramarital affairs to bring him down.
He's as pure as the driven snow.
The 10% of GOP primary voters who supported his dad in 2012 will surely support Rand in 2016, so all he has to do is get another 10-15% to be at the front of the pack.
Having a private sector background might be Rand's biggest advantage over the likes of Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan and Jeb Bush.
Voters have far more respect for doctors than they do for career politicians.
