Which Senator's spent the MOST and LEAST of their Senate budgets?

.....Senate office budgets are determined by a formula that includes a state's total number of residents and its distance from Washington, so Moran spent the highest percentage of his budget but not the most money. California Democrats Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer each spent more than $4.3 million in 2012 out of an office budget of just less than $4.7 million.
Seven of the 10 senators who had spent most of their budgets by Sept. 30 are Democrats. Mark Begich of Alaska had about $60,000 left in his budget of just more than $3 million, records show. Travel costs were a major factor, says Amy Miller, spokeswoman for the first-term Democrat....

Percentages here are deceiving. For example, take a look at Jerry Moran's spending. Sure, he spent the most percentage wise, 99.4%, but his budget and the amount he spent was less then many in the top 10.

And, GO Richard Shelby! Saving tax payers a couple million! He had a budget as high as any of the others and came in with a spending amount less than $2 million.

I'm glad to say my Senator, Rand Paul, is properly budgeting, too. He's closer to $2 million than $3 million.

7 of the 10 biggest spenders were Dems.

8 of the 10 smallest spenders were Repubs.

Call me crazy, but I think that factoid could be a very effective television or radio ad for the GOP at campaign time.

Unfortunately, those ads will never see the light of day with geniuses like Priebus, Boehner & McConnell running the show.
