Piers Morgan thinks the Bible and the U.S. Constitution are flawed and need to be amended

H/T Joel2012
During a discussion on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” on Monday — Christmas Eve — with Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren, Morgan argued that there needs to be an “amendment to the Bible” for same-sex marriage, because like the Constitution, the Bible is “inherently flawed.”
“Both the Bible and the Constitution were well intentioned but they are basically, inherently flawed. Hence, the need to amend it,” Morgan told Warren during a conversation where Morgan emphasized the need for America to separate Church and State.

The amendment is the negation of freedom. Whatever government gives, they have the right to take away. They don't have the right to undo the Bible, and that goes without saying. Piers can go play God on someone else's playground. This type of "thinking" is that of brats and bullies.

Righteous behavior is honor in relationships. There is no flaw in this. And wicked behavior will never be happiness. We are only told the truth. When we resist the truth, it doesn't change the truth.

Many liberals have felt our Constitution is flawed. And, as originally written it was, which is why we have important amendments regarding slavery and suffrage.

In any case, other burgeoning countries have asked the US for assistance in creating their constitutions. In all instances where I've heard this done, we've sent highly regarded university professors.

Well, you know where this is going... we help them create a constitution for their country that is highly flawed from the start and the people are rarely that much better off. Sure, they were better off from a dictatorial point of view, but the didn't get the rights and freedoms as guaranteed by our constitution.

Now, please understand, my point of view is limited on the subject. So don't take my word as an authoritative fact.

There's a petition circulating with 70,000 signatures on it demanding that Piers Morgan be deported back to Great Britain where he's originally from.

But there's another petition circulating in Great Britain demanding that Morgan NOT be allowed back in the country.

Poor Piers - a man without a country.

Piers needs to find God and then he would believe the Bible as God's word and it is here to stay that way.

As people increasingly move away from organized religion, there is no one to challenge their personal idea of God. God becomes whoever they say He is. People in that frame of mind will be happy to amend the Bible. Obviously, their views of who God SHOULD be are more important than finding out who He really is and obeying His commandments.

I see that Hobby Lobby is going to use civil disobedience against Obamacare's morning afterpill mandates. Religious people are allowed to believe it's wrong, but not allowed to act on their religous beliefs. Gay marriage is rapidly becoming one instance where religious beliefs will not be tolerated. Those of us who oppose gay marriage will be openly persecuted for that belief. We will be considered the intolerant ones all while being openly mocked and persecuted by others for our belief. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and we have been there before. I hope other good religious people will stand with us this time.

As for the Constitution, why amend it when you can easily regulate it away? So sad.

What Constitution? Democrats have ignored it from the start, and did all they could to force slavery on everyone, including going to war against the North. They insisted on dominating the North, and didn't abide elections or the Constitution when it didn't suit them.

We can't limit the powers of government with paper, The People have to KNOW and UNDERSTAND the Constitution, and then NOT elect or re-elect those who violate it. The tampering in our elections by foreigners CANNOT continue.

And old media needs to fire those with no respect for religious freedom. Can you imagine if he'd bad mouthed the Koran? Obama would throw him in prison. I am sure he made these remarks to get brownie points from obama.

Apparently obama has an anti-Christian gut reaction.
