Mitt Romney: A good man. The right fight.

But having been involved in three presidential races, two that we won closely and one that we lost fairly closely, I know enough to know that we weren’t brilliant because Florida went our way in 2000 or enough Ohioans stuck with us in 2004. Nor are we idiots because we came a little more than 320,000 votes short of winning the Electoral College in 2012. Losing is just losing. It’s not a mandate to throw out every idea that the candidate championed, and I would hope it’s not seen as an excuse to show disrespect for a good man who fought hard for values we admire....
Yes, the Republican Party has problems, but as we go forward, let’s remember that any party that captures the majority of the middle class must be doing something right. When Mitt Romney stood on stage with Barack Obama, it wasn’t about television ads or whiz- bang turnout technologies, it was about fundamental Republican ideas versus fundamental Democratic ideas. It was about lower taxes or higher taxes, less government or more government, more freedom or less freedom. And Republican ideals — Mitt Romney — carried the day.
On Nov. 6, that wasn’t enough to win. But it was enough to make us proud and to build on for the future.Mitt won the middle class. Obama won by making sure the middle class was diminished and demoralized, and promising things to those who had fallen out of the middle class into poverty.

I just saw this article on Drudge and liked it. A lot. I hate to get too personal/religious but I have to right now. I believe that God sends warnings to nations on the brink of disaster. I think Mitt and Paul were sent to provide that warning and a choice for change. When the majority of the people choose evil--and they did--the whirlwind of God's wrath awaits. I'm sure many will think I'm a crazy lunatic, but it isn't global warning I fear, but the unbridled loss of the family and religion to (corrupt) government. This utter selfishness of young people cannot continue. They will end up preying on those who have morals. Eventually the govt will steal from the people to give to others who "deserve" it until everyone's ends up receiving from the govt or the providers revolt. When more people partake of the govt thievery, eventually the poor and weakest among us suffer the most. You already see a lot of that in our current welfare system. The ones who are actually capable of working the system are better off than those who actually NEED the help.

Not so crazy my friend. You are spot on on several points. Society as a whole is in serious jeopardy. Those who have an understanding of ancient biblical history recognize the trends. It cannot be ignored any longer that as a society many are choosing evil over good, calling evil good and good evil. Thank you for sounding the alarm and let's hope others listen to the call for repentance before it's too late!
Great article,thank you. The GOP needs to stay on message and stay consistent with the message throughout the entire party. The GOP politicians need to stop the backstabbing in order to score political points and they need to check their egos at the door. That is one reason why I liked Romney...because he was more of a leader than a politician.
