As most regular readers know, I have a low opinion of this man along with low expectations. One very key point he mentions that shows his lack of leadership is the mention of "...the President has to lead on this issue." No Mr. Speaker, you have to lead on these issues. The Executive Branch of the Gov't is not supposed to make legislation, that's your job Mr. Speaker.

We have a Republic, remember? The House is the people's house. You're supposed to represent us, not ignore us and fulfill the President's wishes. It's no wonder this man is a failure. He's completely disconnected himself from the Constitution and the people he's supposed to represent. The House needs a new Speaker that understands his duties to represent "we the people."

As Speaker Boehner & Obama are co-dependents on "the fiscal cliff", let's try to understand this timeless principle.

Why The Worst Get To The Top

"Just as the democratic statesman who sets out to plan economic life will soon be confronted with the alternative of either assuming dictatorial powers or abandoning his plans, so the totalitarian leader would soon have to choose between disregard of ordinary morals and failure. It is for this reason that the unscrupulous are likely to be more successful in a society tending toward totalitarianism. Who does not see this has not yet grasped the full width of the gulf which separates totalitarianism from the essentially individualist Western civilization."

Fredrich von Hayek

As the US advances to a totalitarian state via the baby steps of socialism, if our "democratic" leaders fail to get the job done, the usual & historic game plan has always been to choose a dictatorship or phoney Soviet style republic in name only.

Our citizen Santa Claus' have lost their individualism to seek out the teat of Gov't. Our wealthy who think they're protected will soon find their wealth looted by not an ad valorem tax, but a new "wealth tax" on their assets.

For those who may not understand how a new "wealth tax" would work, please watch this video.

Since this is on CNBC, obviously, people far above Ric Santelli are already discussing it. This may be a trial balloon to see if it garners GOP support.

There's more than one way to "skin a cat." How thick is your fur?

When you throw Nancy Pelosi into the comparison...Boehner is a Genius.

Sorry this guy is a joke. He is out there all over the media before Obama has even talked about immigration. He is weak and needs to go!!

Bosman, true that is, but Nancy seemed to have traded her lady parts for John's man parts, and he ended up having her lady parts!

Maybe that's why he cries all the time?
