City of Philadelphia will audit its election Day process

Voting irregularities in Philadelphia on Election Day have prompted city official to launch an audit.

Those irregularities include:

  • more than 27,000 individuals in the city were forced to vote by provisional ballot on Nov. 6.
  • there were numerous reported incidents where individuals who had voted in one election district for years were forced to vote with a provisional ballot this year because their names had been removed from the voting rolls.
  •  Mitt Romney received no votes in 59 voting districts in the city.

I have to wonder how serious they are about this audit when it is reported that there is no timetable at this time to get this done. Do you think they'll be finished before January 20, 2017?

What is really sad is that the Republican Governors of Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania have not been proactive on this after the election - considering all the reports of voter fraud specific to those states (and others).

Election inconsistencies must be corrected now, not attempted (again) 3 months before the next election.

This so-called "audit" is a complete joke - a dog and pony show conducted merely to give the APPEARANCE of propriety.

And the GOP, as usual, will say nothing and do nothing about it except mouth some platitudes about "free and fair elections".

In the interest of truth in labeling, the GOP should rename itself the Washington Generals - the longtime FAUX opponent of the Harlem Globetrotters - because the Republican Party has clearly become a FAUX opponent to the Democratic Party, as demonstrated by the Party's long and notorious history of aiding and abetting its political enemy:

- Romney, McCain & Dole run 3 of the most feckless, timid, sorry-ass presidential campaigns in history.

- Bush 43 runs up $5 trillion in deficit spending, appoints a RINO(John Roberts) to the Supreme Court, and lets Osama bin Laden escape to Pakistan where he is ultimately captured & killed during the Obama presidency.

- Bush 41 raises taxes after promising not to and appoints a hardcore liberal(David Souter) to the Supreme Court.

- Ronald Reagan runs up huge deficits, repeatedly raises taxes, grants amnesty to 3 million illegal immigrants, appoints 2 pro-abortion justices to the Supreme Court(Sandra Day O'Connor & Anthony Kennedy), signs into law unfunded mandates like the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act, and approves a 1982 Consent Decree that permanently prohibits the GOP from taking measures to prevent voter fraud without getting Court approval in advance(approval that - surprise, surprise, surprise - has been repeatedly denied by liberal judges & justices).

The list of betrayals by GOP presidents and presidential candidates goes on and on and on, but for the sake of brevity, I will spare you all the details.

Sad but true, the GOP has clearly and undeniably become the Washington Generals of American politics, the Tom to the Democrats' Jerry, the perennial straw opponent, pushover, stooge, patsy and whipping boy of the Democratic Party.

Hawk is not wrong. Don't forget that the message sync'd lapdogs in the press report to the White House for their orders. Meghan Kelly would look great in one of those NAZI uniforms. Perfect, in fact.
