O'Reilly and Romney were right. We have a culture of graft. If we want it to end, we need to hold our leaders accountable for pandering to and profiting from special interests.

Major legislative reform of the 3 main pillars of the liberal power structure - the communications/broadcasting industry, the campaign finance & lobbying industry, and the Federal Reserve System - is the only way to significantly reverse our nation's century-long leftward slide.

This is a good news/bad news situation for conservatives.

The bad news is that conservatives don't have the numbers nor the leadership in Washington to accomplish these goals anytime soon.

The good news is that if/when conservatives acquire the needed numbers and leadership in Washington, major reforms can be achieved, "IT CAN BE DONE", as Ronald Reagan used to say.

If enough voters understand the importance and necessity of major institutional reform, and then demand those reforms from their elected officials, then such reforms will inevitably occur.

@ Brandt

You're sadly mistaken if you think FOX is a bastion of conservatism.

FOX's liberal & moderate commentators far outnumber those who are conservative.

FOX's hard news department is part and parcel of the liberal mainstream media, and you would need a magnifying glass to detect any differences in their political agendas.

Just because Sean Hannity & Bill O'Reilly occasionally criticize Democrats and liberals, doesn't mean that FOX is conservative.

All it means is that FOX is slightly less liberal than the other major news networks.
