Bosman, like Sununu, you're a one-man wrecking crew for the Mitt Romney campaign. I love your guts and willingness to go against the tide where the MSM swims effortlessly along. Thank you. This on-the-ground video was heartening. It brought me back to my firm conviction that the American people are not idiots. Not by a long shot.
I live in Connecticut, in a town where you would expect to see pro-Obama signs on every other lawn. NADA. It's totally different from 2008. People are holding their cards close, keeping their true thoughts to themselves. All the while, I drive around with a Romney/Ryan bumper sticker--spreading the word to the silent majority that it's OK to vote for Mitt and Paul, even in this bluest of States.
Being a conservative Republican from Boston, I feel your pain. I also believe that Romney will do very well in Massachusetts. Not enough to win, but every vote counts in the tally.
Romney will win Boston though. We are made up of 45%+ Independents (closet Republicans and Reagan Democrats) Boston sections of South Boston, Charlestown, East Boston, North End, Hyde Park, and West Roxbury, will win Boston for Mitt.
I was in the GOP section of a local parade yesterday and we received cheers as we went by in some sections. No. doubt, the GOP is strong in Ohio on the ground and we have many strong local candidates. However, Mr. Romney is going to have to start advertising on Ohio TV stations in order to put himself over the top. I only saw two Romney ads this week and the only people Mr. Obama are local candidates and third party action PACs.
Romney like GOTV which he does have in Ohio and PA (and every other state, big time GOTV in VA and NC). But he also likes the end game. I think you'll see a much more aggressive game in the last three weeks. That's when people really start to pay attention. However, with early voting, I'd start ramping up right after the first debate
