CNN/ORC Poll: Obama-Biden leading by 6 in a poll who's data MAKES NO SENSE!

Head-to-Head: (Previous results from August 25)

With Likely Voters:

Barack Obama-Joe Biden 52% (48%)
Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan 46% (48%)

With Registered Voters:

Barack Obama-Joe Biden 53% (52)
Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan 45% (45%)

With Men:

Barack Obama-Joe Biden 48% (43%)
Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan 47% (53%)

With Women:

Barack Obama-Joe Biden 55% (54%)
Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan 44% (42%)

With Independents:

Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan 54% (52%)
Barack Obama-Joe Biden 40% (42%)

There is something that SMELLS about these numbers. Romney leads Obama by 14 points with independents. There is NO BREAKDOWN of the sampling by party...which leads me to believe, they OVER SAMPLED DEMOCRATS BIG TIMEunder sampled Independents, or both. Why no breakdown CNN? Even the left leaning PPP supplies that data in their polls.
A survey of 875 registered voters, including 700 likely voters, was conducted September 7-9, 2012. The MOE is +/-3.5%.

CNN and the rest of the MSM are trying to re-install Obama via propagandist polls, fact.

I remember clearly they had Kerry leading for a long time and they tightened up very close to the election, simply because the pollsters didn't want egg on their face. The swing is 52-48 for either Romney or Obama. Whoever wins the debates will win the whole thing.

I calculated the D/R/I split and it's 44/34/22.

+10% Dem. More than the +7% in 2008.

In 2008, it was 39/32/29.

The poll is saying that Obama will win bigger than in 2008 by adding another 3% Dem turnout. This has never happened in a national election in recent times.

I'd toss this poll out. It's not even remotely physically possible.
