Mitt Romney, in remarks at a fund-raiser Tuesday, took a jab at President Barack Obama's campaign one day after financial filings revealed the president's re-election team had spent more money than it raised in July.Read the rest of the story HERE.
"We're a little wiser in our spending of dollars than the other side, apparently," Romney said, according to pool reports. "I'm not managing their campaign for them, but we're going to spend our money wisely. We're going to spend it to win."
The presumptive GOP presidential nominee made his comments while speaking at a private fund-raising event in Houston–one of two events in Texas for Romney on Tuesday. He later heads to Midland for a reception at the Petroleum Club. Combined, the events are expected to yield $6-7 million, the campaign said.
