More lies and distortions about Mitt Romney from Obama's Camp

Just when you thought all this, "Romney was still at Bain while running the Olympics" BULL SHIT was over with, Pravda West (The Boston Globe) published an article that once again claims Romney was at Bain while running the Olympics.

I'm going to spend ZERO TIME on this hit piece. If you'd like, You can read the trash HERE.

Instead, Ill post some reactions:

Here's a statement from the horse's Mouth (Bain Capital):
Mitt Romney left Bain Capital in February 1999 to run the Olympics and has had absolutely no involvement with the management or investment activities of the firm or with any of its portfolio companies since the day of his departure.

Due to the sudden nature of Mr. Romney's departure, he remained the sole stockholder for a time while formal ownership was being documented and transferred to the group of partners who took over management of the firm in 1999. Accordingly, Mr. Romney was reported in various capacities on SEC filings during this period.
The Boston Globe’s Own Reporters Have Confirmed Mitt Romney Left Bain Capital In 1999. In 2011, Scott Helman and Michael Kranish, two Boston Globe reporters wrote a book, 'The Real Romney". In it, they confirmed after a thorough investigation:
“In 1999, when Romney stepped down as the head of Bain Capital, the top tax rate for income was 39.6 percent, while the top rate for capital gains was about half that, at 20 percent.” (Michael Kranish & Scott Helman, The Real Romney, 2011, p. 162)
FactCheck.org:
FactCheck.org is standing by their assessment that Mitt Romney did not actively manage Bain Capital after February 1999, despite today's Boston Globe report that he was CEO there until 2002.

"We see little new in the Globe piece. So far, nobody has shown that Romney was actually managing Bain — even part-time — during his time at the Olympics, or that he was anything but a passive, absentee owner during that time, as both Romney and Bain have long said,"

Fortune:
Mitt Romney did not manage Bain Capital's investments after leaving to run the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, according to confidential firm documents obtained by Fortune.

[...]

Now Fortune has obtained new evidence that supports Romney's version of events.
GIVE IT A REST, Obama Campaign. You're making your candidate out to be a bigger fool than we already knew he was. You may want to draw attention away from your candidate's GREATEST WEAKNESS....but it ain't gonna work. Most Amercans know as I'm sure you all know as well (but won't admit)...IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID! And all the lies and distortions won't change that.

This is a great example of The Little Blue Book at work. Keep repeating the lie or distortion, maintain control of the language & argument, have the MSM to support their POV. See it for what it is; non-sense.

Bosman,

Maybe we should let the liberals go there.

We can ask them if they really think Romney was so awesome that he could simultaneously save the Olympics on one side of the country while running that fabulously successful Bain Capital on the other side of the country.

Yeh, let's ask them.

Let them make out like Romney is even greater than he is.

It might be fun to watch them squirm...
