Roberts just Gift Rapped the Oval Office for Mitt Romney

Contrary to conventional wisdom, an anti-tax backlash over the Supreme Court’s blockbuster decision upholding Obamacare could propel Mitt Romney all the way to the Oval Office, national Republicans said, as irate voters pumped millions into his campaign coffers in the wake of the surprise ruling.

“Chief Justice John Roberts has all but gift-wrapped the election for Republicans with this ruling,” said Keith Appell, a GOP consultant based in Washington, D.C. “Now every single Democrat will have to defend the largest tax increase in American history during a bad economy in an election year.”

Sorry, there's just no way around this:

“Now every single Democrat will have to defend the largest tax increase in American history during a bad economy in an election year.”

Well, anon@3:33 is partially correct. Obama's base feels vindicated by the decision and it solidifies their support for Obama. To them, it shows that Obama did the right thing and showed leadership.

The problem is that this decision motivates the Republicans, the Conservatives, the Libertarians, the Independents, and most anybody not looking to get taxed to and see those given to others as handouts to head to Romney's camp. Yesterday's donation and engagement metric proves it. Romney won those numbers yesterday.

Obama won a battle that will lose him the war. Say hello to President-elect Romney.

OBama had a great night in polling last night. Look who's back on top in Rasmussen and it stinks (BO). Stop drinking the kool aid. Even Rush said he was sick today. That doesn't sound like a win to me. there was no great scenario for BO but if the law had been struck as Scalia wanted BO would have nothing to run on
